Can yard work really improve plant growth? You bet it can just like exercise can improve our physical bodies and the way we feel. By keeping up on yard work, you are revitalizing your plant growth. When our lawn gets long it starts to sag and look a little droopy. What happens to it when it is mowed? It perks up and looks bright green and fresh. Mowing is considered yard work. You can't just let your lawn get as tall as weeds.
You must mow your lawn twice a week or whatever you prefer but the more you mow it, the healthier it will be. In the fall or early spring you should trim your rose bushes and rid them of all their dead parts which will prepare them for full healthy blooms in the spring and throughout the summer. You should prune them throughout the summer to keep them healthy and blooming. Performing yard work on plant growth is like us taking our daily vitamins or taking a shower every day.
By doing these daily tasks, we feel refreshed and invigorated. It allows us to continue on with our duties. It is the same way with plants. By trimming, watering, fertilizing, etc, they are refreshed and kept looking new. There is just no way around yard work if you want to have plant life in and around your home. Yard work and plant growth not only beautify our homes and yards but it also improves the value of our homes.
