Plant placement is very important. It does make a difference in where you place a plant. It's important, not for just the looks of the plant and the enhancement of the surrounding area, but also for the health of your plant as well. Some plants need a lot of sun, while others cannot tolerate the direct sun. Others need a lot of water and some not as much. Every plant has different needs in order to be healthy and beautiful.
Your county extension service can help you determine the type of soil in your area and what zone you are in. This will determine the type of plants that grows well in your yard. Find out as much as possible about the plants you wish to purchase, this will help you decide where to place them for maximum beauty for your plant and your yard. If you don't have a lot of time to spend taking care of the plants, you will want plants that require minimal pruning and watering.
Give some consideration to the activities of the area you are planting. You may consider placing delicate plants in raised beds or enclosed areas. The color of your plant will determine the placement. You want colors that will compliment each other so the beauty of each will be enhanced.
A beautiful flower garden takes a tremendous amount of care. It is true that flowers can take care of themselves, but they will not be beautiful on their own. Placing your flowers in pots and putting them in the spot you think you want them will help you to see if they look right for you. If you are not satisfied, you can move them and try another spot. Perhaps another flower you have may look better in the first location. Try several locations before you make your final decision on where the plant should be located.
