Fall is about the busiest time for homeowners to start getting busy and raking dead leaves that fall on your front yard and backyard. These leaves need to be removed since they can damage your yard.
If you have a lot of rainstorm, chances are that your soil might have been drained out of its nutrients. During snowfall, you should make sure that all shrubs are clear from snow by the next day or two. Having snow covering your shrubs completely would cause sun blockage and may kill your shrub or injure them permanently depending on what type of plants you have.
Nice yards can give people a good impression about the owner, just as our appearance does. Your lawn should be mowed regularly. Special care should be given to the weeds that will eat up your beautiful grass. Patches of weeds can be very embarrassing, so you might consider installing a new lawn altogether. Seeding your lawn is a good way to rejuvenate your lawn, especially after the long, hot heat of the summer. It is best to do seeding during the fall month. If you should need to install new lawn by sodding, it is best to do it during spring time.
Your lawn also needs to be fed with nutrients during this time of the year. Before putting fertilizers on your yard, you must first check how fertile it has been. Without checking out your soil fertility, you can overload your lawn with too many vitamins and minerals. In some case, it might even burn your lawn.
